Hi, I began my career as a newspaper writer in Philadelphia. In 1985, I switched to TV and moved to Tokyo to become Far East correspondent for PBS’s Nightly Business Report” Subsequent assignments included Washington correspondent for FNN and CNN Business News. In 1994, I struck out on my own and have produced four PBS documentaries, “Does Making Things Matter”, an international production focusing on manufacturing throughout the world, “Japan in America”, which focused on Japanese influence in the USA and, “Jobs, Not What They Used to Be” which studied changing work habits in the United States. Finally, “Tricks of the Trade, Outsmarting Investment Fraud.” Along the way, I have produced many TV commercials and long form non commercial video projects for a host of national and international clients. Clients include the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, The United States Department of Justice, The Securities and Exchange Commission, IBM and the Independent Insurance Agents of America. I write travel and business stories for a number of publications including the Washington Post, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Philadelphia Inquirer and many other national and regional outlets. In 2004 I began developing property in Gulf Shores, AL and have built six homes. I kept three for vacation rentals and for my personal use.
